Do not pay for power

More power does not always mean more speed
Imagine a large tap feeding a narrow pipe. Increasing the tap’s capacity does not remove the pipe’s limit. Similarly, your device, charger and cable must all support the charging mode you want. Advertised wattage is a charger’s maximum, not a promise of speed for every phone.
Check three things before comparing prices
First, check the power and protocol your device supports according to its manufacturer. Second, check the cable required for that mode. Third, check output per port and when several devices are connected. Write those details down: they matter more than automatically choosing the biggest number.
What does a charger display add?
The Anker Nano 45W with Smart Display is an example of a charger that makes charging information visible. It may interest you if you want information beyond your phone’s battery icon. Our assessment: the display is a convenience to evaluate separately from compatibility. It does not automatically make charging faster or prove that your current charger needs replacing.
When we would keep the current charger
If your current charger works properly, fits your routine and supports your devices, a new display may add little. If you need another charger for travel or work, compare a compatible model without a display against one with it. Decide how much that information is worth to you. Also check the specific plug type and box contents.
